Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a Security Program Manager Based in Malta.

How you will make an impact:

The Security Program Manager - Malta is a leadership role responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 14298, expectations around auditing secure material controls, and assurance against the Global Security Risk Control Matrix. These items drive the security operations related to Malta. This role facilitates established strategic direction to ensure the provision of top-level physical security, security systems and assurance of secure materials control, reflective of a highest security operation. The incumbent is responsible for directing, evaluating, and enhancing the site’s security posture and addressing issues and concerns as they arise. This individual will also be responsible for driving consistent security processes generated globally.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a compliance function
• Ability to develop, evaluate policies and practices and internal controls considering emerging technologies and industry best practices and incorporate them as appropriate.
• Strong communication and management skills, the ability to think strategically within a multi-disciplinary team and interact successfully with leaders of the site and company.

Preferred:

• Exhibit a positive attitude and initiative.
• Must have motivation and interpersonal skills.
• Have a respectable work history with minimal attendance and lateness issues.
• Understand the principles and comply with practice of Lean Manufacturing, 5S Methodology and Continuous Improvement.
• Understand the application of the principles of Deter, Detect, Deny, Delay and Defend.
• A good knowledge of the application of security in a high security facility.
• A good knowledge of reconciliation processes.
• A good knowledge of internal and external risk levels.
• This position will need to demonstrate and sustain suitability for employment in a position requiring local or national security clearances.
