Job Description:

80% FTE, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. No weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Pediatric Oncology Coordinator to: 


  • Lead the expansion, maintenance, and education of our electronic medical record treatment protocol library.

  • Support staff learning and workflow development across inpatient and ambulatory treatment areas.

  • Evaluate daily chemotherapy operations for pediatric cancer and blood disorders patients.

  • Participate in quality improvement efforts that support evidence-based, family centered care.

Education:

Minimum – Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).

Preferred – Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field.

Work Experience:

Minimum – Three (3) years of nursing care experience.

Preferred – One (1) year of oncology nursing experience Progressive leadership experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Wisconsin.

Preferred – Certification in Oncology or Bone Marrow Transplant.
