Portfolio Director is responsible for the general management and oversight of all properties assigned to the portfolio; properties may include HUD Section 8, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, HUD 202, HUD Public Housing and Market Rate. The Portfolio Director is responsible for the financial management, physical conditions, compliance, resident/occupancy issues, and community/resident relations.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Science, or closely related field. Experience in residential property management. Experience in developing business and strategic plans for a residential property is desired. Considerable knowledge of REAC standards, Housing Quality Standards (HQS) Considerable knowledge of management principles, methods and practices and their application to property management and asset management. Prefer knowledge of Low income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs. Prefer work experience and proficiency using property management software.
