Job Description:

The current opening is for a Campus Environmental Office for Facility Operations at Pittsburg State University. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Sciences, Engineering Technology or related field is required. Licenses or certifications required or obtained within one year of hire are Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Department of Transportation (DOT) 49 CFR 100-185 “Hazardous Materials Regulations”, RCRA 40 CFR 260-279 “Hazardous Waste Management”, Kansas State Fire Marshal Commissioned Inspector “Fire Inspector”, 10 and 30 hour OSHA cards Department of Labor Title 29 CFR, and Hazardous Waste Site Operations Training Course OSHA 29 CFR 1910.12(e).
