Required Qualifications
Advanced degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent from an American Library Association (ALA)-accredited program or from a program recognized by the ALA as an international equivalent.
Coursework, robust knowledge of, or experience in outreach and engagement activities for a variety of student populations.
Strong service orientation and the ability to interact positively with students, faculty, staff, colleagues, and the public.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a strongly collegial and participative environment.
Ability to manage diverse assignments in a rapidly changing organization
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Desired Qualifications
Experience implementing initiatives to better understand and identify user or student needs.
Experience with teaching information literacy/fluency including lesson planning, assignment development, creating digital learning objects, and/or assessment.
Experience and commitment to using assessment tools for evidence-based decision-making
Experience incorporating assessment data to improve instruction and demonstrate student success
