Job Overview: Located in Tonawanda, New York, LGUS Accounting Shared Services provides financial services for a variety of businesses within the United States of America. LGUS Shared Services consists of Accounting Standards/Sarbanes Oxley, Export Compliance, Accounts Payable, Business Reporting, Capital Accounting, General Accounting, Payroll and Benefits Accounting, Customer Financial Services, and Financial Reporting and Analysis. Hours of Work: Full time Mid May - Mid August (Approx. 12 weeks) Primary Responsibilities: - Assist in the development of various accounting data integrity reporting solutions. - Works closely with all Linde Shared Services Teams to understand the use of data integrity reporting. - Gather business requirements sufficient to understand and develop end-to-end solutions for various business reporting / automation projects with Linde Shared Services - Develop simple Financial Data based reports using MS SQL, Tableau and or Oracle Business Intelligence. Qualifications: - Must be a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelors' degree in an Accounting Information Systems or Data Analytics program. - Strong attention to detail required. - Ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of urgency and accountability. - Ability to work cohesively with team members of various skill sets. - Ability to problem solve and work independently. - Demonstrate the ability to learn new processes and concepts quickly. - Strong communication skills, able to explain complex accounting topics to those who do not share business background. - Effectively prioritize competing tasks and execute preparing key documents to meet reporting deadlines.
