Job Description:

MATRIX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance/Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in our corporate finance department. You will maintain clerical responsibilities of data entry and building of invoices. You will ensure best practices, strive for accuracy and efficiency, and ensure continuity in the timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

The primary work location will be in a remote environment.

Responsible for keeping the Executive and Finance team organized, efficient, and ready.
Completes administrative tasks, reporting, financial duties, and conducting basic research.
Team-oriented, high-integrity person to help our team understand how to use reports, the importance of being compliant with regulations, and to process payments in a timely manner.
Performs all duties related to the timely and efficient billing and collection of receivables.
Prepare and post customer invoices.
Deliver invoices to clients electronically and/or via customer specific service portals.
Issuance of credit memos and other authorized billing adjustments.
Timely application of payments, against customer accounts
Work with customers to investigate and resolve billing issues and/or payment discrepancies.
Prepare monthly reports.
Assist with month-end closing.
Provide support for internal and external audits.
Prepare various account reconciliations monthly.
Work on projects related to business operations, financial report and audits, and other projects as assigned.
Anticipate and provide a broad range of confidential administrative support services for the team.
Provide Executive team with all preparatory materials for appointments and meetings, and performs other tasks as assigned by the Executive Team.
Other duties as assigned.
