SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our team at Christ the Rock Community Church. As Drummer you will play a crucial role in enhancing the musical worship experience during rehearsals and services. The primary responsibilities include covering rehearsals on Thursdays and covering our three services on Sundays.

Responsibilities:

Attend and actively participate in weekly rehearsals on Thursdays to prepare for upcoming services.
Provide dynamic and engaging drum accompaniment during worship services, enhancing the overall musical experience.
Collaborate closely with the worship team and band leader to maintain cohesion and excellence in musical performances.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and punctuality in all musical engagements.
Assist in setting up and tearing down drum equipment if need be
Stay updated on new trends and developments in Christian contemporary music and gospel music to contribute fresh ideas and styles to the worship experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a worship team setting.
Deep passion for Jesus Christ and a commitment to glorifying God through music ministry.
Proficient in playing drums with a metronome to maintain consistent tempo and rhythm.
Demonstrated ability to play various styles of Christian contemporary music and gospel music with skill and creativity.
Reliable and responsible, with the ability to handle the demands of regular rehearsals and services.
Previous experience playing drums in a worship atmosphere is preferred.
