Perform functions to cultivate an environment of outstanding customer service as the voice of the company in interactions with referral sources and patients. Build relationships in physicians' offices to communicate the value of referring patients to KSP and support sales growth. Work closely on the new patient referral process, existing patient care services and all dispensing activities as an advocate for physicians, patients and the sales team. Ensure high quality patient safety, timely clinical care and overall satisfaction of physicians. - Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy
- 2+ years pharmacy experience
- Strong business acumen
- Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of payor requirements, healthcare terms, compliance, clinical records expectations and standards; knowledge of specialty pharmacy business model, products and services
- Highly effective communicator; superior listening, speaking, writing and counseling skills
- Ability to maintain strong, effective business relationships; able to focus on customer satisfaction, referral development and sales growth
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines

Desired
- Doctorate Degree Pharmacy- Oversee process of new patient referrals to ensure timely, high-quality onboarding for new patients including benefit investigation and verifications, procurement of required authorizations, new patient counseling, etc.
- Maintain clinical accuracy of prior authorizations with appropriate prescriber; initiate requests, track progress, and expedite responses from insurance carriers and other payers, and maintain contact with customers to keep them continuously informed
- Facilitate efforts in the review of clinical documentation and third party payor criteria to ensure the quality and accuracy of prior authorization submissions
- Communicate with prescribers for clarification or additional information required to complete clinical content of prior authorizations and appeals
- Provide counsel to patients regarding the safe use of medications and ensure that pharmacy services are provided in compliance with regulatory, policy and procedure requirements
- Support dispensing activities of medications in keeping with provider prescription orders
- Communicate with sales team regarding individual account requirements and expectations and resolve customer issues
- Accompany sales team on visits to accounts to represent the company and build relationships one to two times quarterly
- Analyze referrals and activities within territory to identify and communicate trends that have positive influence on referrals
- Provide clinical meetings for physicians and their staff to provide awareness of KSP services
- Attend local and regional conventions to represent KSP and its services
- Maintain effective communication with physicians to foster enduring business relationships and build customer loyalty
- Coordinate with operations leaders to identify and resolve customer service issues; serve as a liaison to resolve issues
- Participate in variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies
