Edelman has an opportunity for a Vice President to join our talented and award-winning health digital team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help lead digital strategy for a major biopharmaceutical and medical devices client, communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and other health stakeholders about innovative products that have a profound effect on peoples' lives. You will plan and manage cutting-edge digital communications and marketing techniques to help clients achieve their objectives.

Responsibilities


    • Digital Strategy

    • Oversee operational performance of accounts, ensuring quality work, deadline, and budget adherence

    • Play major role in creation of digital/social communications strategic plans and goals; manage against them

    • Serve as daily client contact and act as client lead when appropriate; address client issues thoughtfully and effectively with little to no senior oversight

    • Consistently produce high-quality internal and external communications content

    • Knows when and how to most effectively facilitate engagement of Digital specialty practices (e.g., Research, Performance Marketing, Tech, Influencer)

    • Demonstrate tactical proficiency in digital/social advertising, including developing plans and working with creative, analytics, and paid media specialists to execute and optimize complex campaigns

    • Expert in latest digital platforms and best practices to translate content strategies effectively within the digital ecosystem and make certain that creative is designed to perform

    • Leadership

    • Supervise staff by motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable, and conducting their reviews

    • Contribute to business growth through leading and representing digital on new business pitches, introducing clients to new capabilities, building network of industry contacts, and participating in relevant professional organizations

    • Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals

    • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman's values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

Basic Qualifications


    • At least 10 years of relevant experience in digital marketing and/or related fields

    • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications


    • A proven ability to manage large projects (including budgets) and small teams simultaneously, function as a daily client contact, as well as develop and execute plans to meet client goals.

    • This candidate must exhibit a broad understanding of digital marketing/communications for health brands, social media strategy, the latest trends and changes in digital as well as government policies regulating the health care industry.

    • The candidate should have experience working with pharmaceutical companies and possess familiarity with navigating medical, legal, and regulatory review processes.

    • The candidate should have experience developing plans to reach specific patient populations.

    • The candidate should have the ability to delegate and accurately judge and edit the work of others.

    • The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

$99,000 - $175,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
