Job Description:

The Senior Financial Analyst position is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to grow with a dynamic team at one of the top global communications firms. Day to day you will act as a liaison between the agency and the Client on financial matters. You will be involved in development of project budgets, account forecasts, and will be responsible for client billing, and financial reporting of projects and accounts.

Responsibilities:


    • Upload client budgets in financial system

    • Partner with Project Manager to prepare client budgets in line with statements of work

    • Proficiency in project profitability drivers

    • Assist account teams with monthly project budget to actual tracking and other required client reporting

    • Coordinate data collection for client audits

    • Maintain repository if critical client information

    • Review scopes and staffing plans; escalate issues to client finance lead as appropriate

    • Review monthly fee and expense details - pull backup as needed and ensure proper coding of expenses

    • Assist with development of management reports

    • Review and approve sourcing department's service orders (with oversight)

    • Calculate and project monthly revenues based on active contracts and client billings

    • Update revenue forecasts, staff plans and relevant client trackers with actuals

    • Fee reconciliation

    • Facilitate monthly billing - liaison between account staff and billing department and review billing reports

    • Review/approve write-offs in MTR

    • Assist project managers with MTR review

    • Ensure processing of service orders timely

    • Review project request forms for compliance and upload into system

    • Process purchase orders upon request

    • Run financial queries upon staff request

    • Provide time and expense details to PM's as incurred on project(s)

    • Review missing time reports weekly and follow up with delinquencies

    • Support the department by maintaining files, contracts and other relevant documentation

    • Ad hoc requests and projects

    • Contribute to performance appraisal process for peers and managers

    • Engage in team building activities

    • Take responsibility for personal growth and development using available resources such as ELI, on-the-job training, and mentoring

    • Provide ongoing, constructive feedback to junior staff consistently

Basic Qualifications:

    • The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of three years of Financial or Accounting experience.

Preferred Qualifications:


    • The ideal candidate will possess excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, be client service orientated and foster positive working relationships.

    • Should be well organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail and follow through on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

    • Should also possess strong financial analysis skills and be able to articulate financial concepts in layman's terms.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

$59,000 - $92,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
