Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has a contingent job opportunity for a full time Project Manager in San Diego, CA or, Norfolk, VA.

Summary: The Project Manager will provide oversight of engineering projects and provide technical support to senior Navy leadership. The Project Manager will report directly to the Senior Program Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provides oversight and technical support for various engineering projects within a program.

  • Utilizes subject matter expertise to conduct engineering studies and provides technical recommendations or assessments.

  • Researches and analyzes data and procedures related to the maintenance, operation, performance, or reliability of various engineering main propulsion or auxiliary systems, and provide recommendations to improve maintenance/operational processes and procedures.

  • Analyzes procedures utilized by maintenance and repair activities and develops recommendations to achieve optimum utilization of tools, machines and equipment used for repairs.

  • Monitors and analyzes ships force compliance with applicable directives and instructions.

  • Conducts, tracks, and support various engineering tasks or deep dive efforts and provide expert recommendations, reports, or briefings to senior leadership.

  • Provides assistance in the development, updating and execution of governing directives.

  • Provides technical support and process improvement recommendations for fleet engineering initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/equivalent.

  • Least two to four (2-4) years of experience supporting the Navy or supporting Navy Surface Ships required.

  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word, Power Point, and Excel.

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Force Maintenance Officer a plus.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

  • Experience working in a major command preferred.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $65,000 To $82,000 Annually. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

ADA Notations:

  • Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk and may occasionally lift and move 25 pounds

  • Regular communication (hearing/speaking).

  • Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.

  • Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).

  • Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.

  • Ability to climb aboard ships and military vessels, if required

  • Some travel may be required
