Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a MongoDB Technology Architect . In this role, y ou will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. Y ou will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Key Responsibilities:

• Participate and contribute to the requirements elicitation process and create requirements documentation


• Participate in creating application architecture document to provide deliverables in line with architectural requirements


• Create design artifacts and support prototyping through creation of POCs


• Deliver high quality code deliverables and support peers in quality checks such that design requirements are met. Create user documentation for the assigned modules


• Lead validation activities for the assigned modules for all types of testing e.g., Functional, Integration, System, User Experience etc.


• Support the creation of "Go Live" plan and manage assigned activities in the plan


• Perform root-cause analysis of any issues that arise post-implementation and work on appropriate solutions


• Participate in Knowledge Transfer sessions, prepare system appreciation documents and support the transition process


• Conduct impact analysis of issues logged, prioritize and ensure that production support is provided as per committed SLAs

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Pennington, NJ or Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.


• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience


• In-depth knowledge of distributed database concepts and architectures


• At least 3 years of experience in end-to-end implementation of projects in MongoDB


• Designing and implementing data models and MongoDB database schemas to meet application requirements efficiently.


• Writing and optimizing MongoDB queries and operations (CRUD) to ensure optimal performance and scalability.


• Leveraging MongoDB's features to enhance query performance and manage large datasets effectively.


• Troubleshooting system-related issues and resolving them promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.


• Profiling MongoDB queries and identifying performance bottlenecks.


• Implementing performance tuning measures to improve overall database performance


• Involve in setting up and configuring automatic backup processes in Linux


• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting


• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.

• Sound knowledge of software engineering design patterns and practices


• Strong knowledge in RESTful APIs, Data structures, Algorithms, Collections, Multi-threading and memory management and concurrency


• Experience in Big data ecosystem using Python packages and libraries for large scale data


• Good knowledge of Webservices, REST services, JSP and JavaScript, experience with any enterprise web server


• Experience in Cloud technologies and DevOps preferred.


• Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks


• Experience in Banking domain


• Strong communication and Analytical skills


• Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams


• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment
