Java Full stack Developer at Infosys Limited in Jersey City, New Jersey

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Java full-stack Developer . This position's primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day to day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Pennington/ Jersey City, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Solid experience in Core Java including Multi-Threading/Concurrency, Performance Tuning, and Monitoring aspects of the applications and Memory management
• Experience in Web services, Angular
• Experience in writing complex stored procedures

Preferred Qualifications
• At least 4 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies and experience in frameworks like Spring, Hibernate
• Experience and good knowledge of Webservices, REST services, JSP and Javascripts
• Experience and good knowledge of Angular JS, Node JS, HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS
• Experience with any enterprise web server preferably Websphere or JBoss
• At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
• At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• A full stack Software Developer (Java/Spring MVC/Angular/Node.JS/Relational DB), responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals
• Troubleshooting and Performance tuning of the application for SLA enhancements.
• Development Experience in Microservices and Cloud Technologies is an added advantage
• Understand the continuous integration and continuous deployment lifecycle
• Contribute to future design and architectural decisions
• Experience implementing modern micro-services architectures.
• Knowledge on Fixed Income trading flows.
• Willing to work in application/production support
• Experience in Banking domain

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
