Epiq’s Legal Business Advisory team is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual to join our team of legal workflow and process automation experts in the role of Senior Consultant.  Epiq’s LBA group is well-known and recognized for our strong marketplace position, and we are looking for smart, resourceful and driven consultants in whom we can invest heavily to mentor and develop the future leaders of our profession.

The successful candidate will work directly with Epiq clients on a broad range of legal business, operational and process automation projects.

Responsibilities


  • Responsible for ensuring high quality consulting, advisory and project management services.

  • Participate in the development and execution of service offerings and project methodologies

  • Lead or assist in automation and integration solutions development for client projects

  • Execute implementation strategies, business requirements analysis, and solution architecture

  • Provide support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution

  • Develop and maintain custom tools and software facilitating solution development

  • Project management, timeline and resource coordination

  • Developing and maintaining documentation including deployment guides, functional specifications, installation checklists, Issue Tracking sheets, etc.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Build and maintain strong technology vendor relationships

  • Synthesize multiple sources of information, apply conceptual models, recognize patterns and draw and defend conclusions;

  • Confidently interact with members, thought leaders, clients and vendors whether over the telephone or in person;

  • Create project plans and prioritize workstreams necessary to lead projects with direction;

  • Deliver high quality output, no matter what. Can identify and occasionally lead targeted change initiatives.  Takes initiative to seek out such opportunities;

  • Collaborate effectively across the Company practice areas;

  • Build relationships with colleagues and provide "ear to the ground" to assist leadership team. Suggests solutions, rather than simply airing complaints.

Primary Responsibilities

Project Development: Responsible for ensuring high quality consulting and implementation services


  • Lead or assist in developing and deploying automation/integration solutions

  • Interface and Communicate directly with Client project teams

  • Develop implementation strategies, business requirements analysis, and solution architecture

  • Provide support, troubleshooting, and issue resolutions

  • Develop and maintain custom tools and processes facilitating solution development

Documentation and Research: Responsible for development and upkeep of training, documentation, and tools


  • Developing and maintaining documentation including deployment guides, functional specifications, installation checklists, Issue Tracking sheets, etc.

  • Provide timely project status updates to Management

Sales Support


  • Support sales process with technical and business knowledge

  • Develop and maintain sales prototypes and demos defined by Management

Minimum Requirements – Knowledge and Skills:


  • Web Application Development Experience (2 - 4+ Years with .NET, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, XML, etc.)

  • Knowledge and experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server or equivalent)

  • Experience with Cloud data integration (REST web services, Swagger, Boomi, etc.)

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Able to travel (up to 10%)

Desired Qualifications:


  • 2-4 year degree in computer science or equivalent technical degree or strong equivalent experience

  • BPM Platform experience: Decisions, Intapp, Boomi, Onit, etc.

  • Web Services Development Experience

  • Microsoft Certification(s)

  • Consulting Experience

  • Legal Industry &/or Law Firm Experience, in particular experience with industry-standard legal software technologies #LI-KW1, #LI-REMOTE
