Job Description:

The Northwestern
School District
is looking for a Business Manager 12 month position.Bachelor’s Degree in business management, accounting, finance, or related field required. Experience and/or graduate degree or significant coursework in PA public school finance, three (3) years of relelvant experience with business and administrative functions preferred.
Responsible for:
-Planning/managing daily financial affairs and risk management of school district
-Monitoring overall financial state of the District
-Managing the accounting system and procedures to ensure accurate information is readily available to make sound financial decisions
-Administration of district finances including:
-Budget preparation
-Fiscal planning and analysis
-PDE state and federal financial reporting
-Payroll
-Accounting
-Employee benefits
-Insurances
-Investments
-Debt service
-Bond issuance
-Business office functions
Must possess leadership skills, demonstrate professional ethis and interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to relate well to administrators, school board, staff and public. Detailed job description will be available during interview process.
