Job Description:

The Community Supports Network (CSN) is currently offering a $2,000 hiring bonus for candidates who apply through 6/30/2024 and are successfully hired. The hiring bonus is paid in 3 installments: $300 - First paycheck following completion of initial training (approx. 2 weeks), $700 - 3 months of employment and all training complete, $1,000 - 6 months of employment.
*Applicants previously employed by CSN within the past 6 months are not eligible for this bonus.

Residential and Facility Maintenance Technician
The Community Supports Network, Inc (CSN) is currently accepting applications for a hard-working, well-rounded residential and facility maintenance technician who has a passion for all things upkeep and repair as well as the overall safety and well-being of employees and people supported by CSN.
As a Residential and Facility Maintenance Technician your day-to-day schedule will change as you maintain our various residential group homes and small offices in and around Lincoln. This position will be hourly with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package with additional perks. The pay rangestarts at $18 and goes upbased on Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.

Residential and Facility Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
Handyman responsible for general home repairs and maintenance workPerform daily service calls consisting of installing outlets, switches, toilet flappers, faucets, garbage disposals, ceiling fans, shower heads, cabinet doors and drawers, light fixtures, smoke detectors, filter changes and other commons items in residential homes.Performs property maintenance including painting, drywall, door/windows, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, and scheduled maintenance that is not covered by property ownerMaintains all community buildings and common areas, including our offices, building walkways, and recreation areasAdhere to safety standards and building codesRespond to service orders and performs all duties assigned by Maintenance SupervisorEnsures resident satisfaction by completing service orders in a prompt and organized manner including emergency service ordersRecord and maintain accurate records (work orders, receipts, purchase orders) and material managementIdentify innovative solutions to maintenance issues and exercising discretion and independent judgment to ensure projects are completed timelyRemaining solution-oriented when challenges arisePromote a positive image of the agency and the individuals we support
Residential and Facility Maintenance Technician Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in commercial or residential maintenance including basic plumbing and electrical knowledge, door/window repair/replacement, Drywall Repair including patching and caulking, and other general home repairsAssociates degree in construction management; certification as a plumber and/or electrician or similar certification preferred but not requiredAt least 21 years of ageHave valid and unexpired drivers license and auto insuranceExcellent CommunicationAbility to work independently and have own tools
