As an NI Research Intern, you will enjoy the unique opportunity to be exposed to many aspects of the long-term innovation cycle. By the end of your intern or co-op term, your project will contribute to NI's bottom line success. Research project opportunities include RF, Microwave and sub-THz design and development, MMIC development, test and measurement systems, and mathematical analysis tools.

What our intern will do

Develop integrated circuit building blocks for mmW and Sub-THz transmitters and receivers, with an emphasis on test, measurement and characterization of the ICs being jointly designed by NI and UT-Austin.

Basic Qualifications

Pursuing M.S. or PhD in electrical engineering, or physics.

  • Strong work ethic and desire to succeed

  • Problem-solving skills; enjoys solving technical problems

  • Like to learn about new designs and design methodologies

  • Understanding of RF, microwaves and mmW design, architectures, and performance metrics

  • Understanding of IC design and architecture principles

  • Listen attentively and be able to grasp basic technical information

  • Preferred Qualifications
