Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Administrator facilitates the efficient operation of the plant by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
Welcomes and directs visitors and clients. Ensures all proper forms are filled out
Maintains filing systems as assigned.
Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
Processing of weekly payroll, entering vacation days, missed punches etc
Tracking attendance and issue out disciplines to supervisors as needed
Potential opportunity to assist with new hire on-boarding including ordering of equipment PCs, mobile devices, and arranges for needed IT access, implementation and software applications
Monitors and maintains existing team equipment like laptops and mobile devices and arranges for IT support, and implementation of software applications and updates, as necessary
Coordinate and communicate special events with all levels of the organization
Communicate effectively with executives and other administrative staff to gather and convey information
Assisting in coordination of vendors (service providers), requesting and managing POS, processing invoices etc
Maintaining contractor badges updating access with Security as needed
Management of department supplies
Mailing various tax filings including the preparation of labels, certified mail tracking, etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Associates degree or years experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
Ability to work independently.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Maintains attention to detail and ensures accuracy in work performed
Ability to work flexible hours at times as required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
