We are seeking a creative, driven, and highly motivated Talent Management & Acquisition Specialist to join our team!

Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Talent Management & Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in the recruiting and retention processes by providing structure for aligning talent management programs and processes and assisting in the proper staffing of the company.

Responsibilities:

Talent Management:

• Manage/support Talent Management activities against annual calendar (e.g., Talent Reviews, Succession, Continuous Performance, Leadership Development, Career, People Surveys, D.E.I...etc.) to ensure consistent delivery of talent processes and programs.

• Manage the deployment of learning & development programs across departments and take accountability for the execution progress.

• Partner with the management team to understand people/organization needs and translate them into robust implementation plans and solutions, with an emphasis on building a diverse & quality talent pipeline and raising people's capability bench strength.

• Act as a change agent to drive culture and mindset change to support the transformation of modern learning and career experience for employees, which may cover change management, culture breeding, team assimilation, coaching, mentoring, onboarding & etc.

• Lead/support the continuous improvement process to streamline transactional talent and learning tasks to achieve efficiencies and optimize synergy.

• Facilitate training and workshops as needed.

Talent Acquisition:

• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs

• Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)

• Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.

• Provide feedback to management about details regarding applications using standardized screening techniques, Assess the skills, qualifications, and experience of potential candidates

• Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements

• Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates

• Work closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving recruitment to ensure fairness in hiring practices.

• Use various methods to source and network with potential candidates, including social media platforms, networking events, job fairs, and other online or in-person channels

• Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.

• Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Thorough working knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations; including EEO, Affirmative Action Programs compliance.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and ATS.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

• 3 to 5 years of human resource management experience in manufacturing preferred.

• SHRM-CP or PHR Certification a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

• Must be able to access and navigate each department at Ingersoll's facilities.
