Operations Supervisor at PPG INDUSTRIES INC in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Description:

PPG Aerospace is searching for an Operations Supervisor to provide leadership and supervision for he Production, Maintenance, Logistics and Shipping/Receiving departments in the Indianapolis, Indiana facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and lead 5-6 day packaging operations to meet customer requirements.


• Lead PPG EHS efforts and activities as advised for the site to include training, record keeping, and audit/inspection readiness and handle the overall maintenance, safety, and security of the entire Indianapolis facility and all departments within.


• This position will lead process improvement/lean projects for the facility.


• Be responsible for all warehouse functions across production, maintenance, and shipping & receiving.


• Assist and fill in for the Operations Manager when vital.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required, Bachelor's degree desirable.


• Minimum of 3 years' of Manufacturing Supervisory experience.


• Microsoft Office and SAP desired.


• Ability to effective communicate (written and verbally).


• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
