Sunshine Acres Children's Home seeks hard-working, fun-loving, trainable, and relational married couples to serve as house parents at our Mesa, Arizona campus. Our mission is to provide a loving, wholesome, Christian home for children who are separated from their parents. Only missionary-minded couples of high-character who relate well with children ages 4-18 need apply. This full-time, salaried position includes:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Enforce home guidelines for behavior and personal growth
Provide nurturing and comfort for the children
Housecleaning - have home "tour ready" (see HP Daily Checklist)
Attend meals with the children and supervise kitchen clean-up when scheduled
Provide morning and evening devotions with the children
Attend Chapel services with the children
Attend staff meetings and regular meetings with Community Managers
Train children in life skills, working with them and teaching by example
Supervise the children's play and always know their locations, especially on off-campus outings
Work closely with Community Managers when disciplinary measures are needed
Supervise homework, coordinate tutoring, and communicate with academic administrators and community managers concerning schoolwork
Transport children to school functions, work, and outside activities
