Job Description

Prepares computer by installing and modifying system software. Education: Bachelors Degree in a technical field.

An individual is sought with experience in developing code for embedded applications in C.  Experience developing code within the STMicroelectronics ecosystem is a requirement, especially using STM32CubeMX and the ST HAL.  A knowledge of makefiles is also required.  The position is opened for a specific task which involves taking code that has been generated from a design specification with bindings/callouts to functions in the HAL and creating files that can be flashed onto a bare processor.  The primary skillset being sought is not so much an ability to write code, but more an understanding of the process of compiling and linking code for programming a specific bare processor.  The final product will be a workflow that allows engineers designing the code to target the processor with a minimum understanding of the details of the build process.  Applicants should describe specific projects that they have worked on to be considered.  An undergraduate degree in engineering is desirable, but demonstrated experience is required.
