There is a place for you at Highland Rivers Behavioral Health!Highland Rivers Behavioral Health provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.Highland Rivers is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse. Job Responsibilities include:

• Utilizes the multidisciplinary assessment to participate in the development of a comprehensive individualized service/recover plan.


• Thoroughly completes and submits appropriate reporting forms to UM when due.


• Completes all necessary documentation according to policy and procedure; ensures individuals meet eligibility criteria or refers to appropriate provider in the community.


• Assists communication during scheduled doctors' visits and assists with patient medications.


• Responsible for keeping all charts in compliance to set standards.


• Link and serve as advocate with other agencies to garner needed resources for individuals.


• Provides assistance and support in crisis situations.


• Ensures individuals are seen per utilization guidelines and per the designated frequency as stated on the treatment plan.


• Actively participates in multidisciplinary treatment/recovery team meetings.


• Maintains therapeutic professional boundaries when working with individuals and families.


• Licensed as a RN in the state of GA.


• One year or more of mental health experience preferred.


• Computer, organizational and teaching skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision.


• Bi-lingual abilities a plus
