As the Analyst, Demand Planning you will own and ensure the forecast is developed, reviewed, published, and adjusted as needed by partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain partners for the Demand Planning Department. You will develop a forecast by using insights such as shipment history, sales collaboration, distribution accuracy, and marketing plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Lead collaboration calls with sales accounts to review and adjust future forecast based on customer inputs.

  • Act as a key player in the S&OE process to ensure plans are reflective of short-term adjustments (RDC splits, Promotional timing, BIAS)

  • Participate in Step 2, collaborating with Design Planner and bringing short term forecast insights to cross functional teams.

  • Analyze historical and short-term future demand inputs and calculate their impacts on demand.

  • Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.

  • Work with cross-functional partners on projects such as new product launches, obsolescence, and transitions to evaluate assumptions.

  • Work with statistical Demand Planner to ensure statistical models are creating sensible 24-month rolling baseline forecasts

  • Conduct monthly root cause analyses on forecast error and identify corrective actions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING


  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field or military experience considered in lieu of education requirement

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS


  • 1-2 years of combined experience in Demand Planning, Sales, and/or Supply Chain

  • Experience in the CPG industry

  • Experience with planning applications such as SAP, APO, Kinaxis, or SAS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across all levels within the organization

  • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs

JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Position is Full-Time, r egular business hours, Monday-Friday
