Security Service Software Engineer - Pacific Northwest

This role will provide


  • Diagnose and resolve software and networking issues for Installed Integrated Security System such as Access Controls, CCTV's & Building Monitors.

  • Work with field service engineers to troubleshoot and repair installed field equipment

  • Create and maintain test records and site configuration information

  • Provide technical support to sales engineers and assist in development of new business opportunities

  • Provide emergency and warranty service as required

  • Assist in commissioning and startup of Security Systems to ensure proper operation.

4-year bachelor's degree or related experience preferred (e.g. Computer Science, Networking, Integrated Security, Access Control, CCTV, etc.)


  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in the industry of Building Automation Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV, and/or other low voltage technologies.

  • Background should be focused around software programming.

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues on their own.

  • Understanding of and proficient in basic networking.

  • Excellent time management and organization skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

  • Excellent customer service, handling all issues on a daily basis

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Handle multiple demands and assignments, prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently

For this STATE based position, the expected compensation range is $80,000-120,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job (1) related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
