  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Experience

  • Minimum of Four (4) years supervisory experience.

  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

  • Experience working in an aerospace industry is preferred.

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience), 5% bonus potential

Benefits Including: Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Three (3) Weeks' Vacation and 13 Company Holidays

Currently we are seeking a 1st Shift Supervisor. This position will direct and motivate the manufacturing workforce to produce high quality products in the most efficient and safe manner while ensuring that scheduling meets business and customer needs.

Essential Functions


  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all EHS rules for the work environment.

  • Responsible for supervising an effective team; including planning and holding meetings, preparing, and conducting performance appraisals as appropriate, managing staffing levels (including vacations, overtime, and leaves of absences), assisting with career development (motivates, coaches and trains to acquire maximum quality, productivity, morale and cooperation), approving time and attendance and labor transactions, and prioritizing and making work assignments.

  • Responsible for directing, organizing, and planning in collaboration with other shift supervisors/leads day-to-day aspects of production.

  • Ensure timely and efficiency of operations.

  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.

  • Perform all other job duties as assigned.

  • Must participate in rotation of weekend leadership coverage, up to two weekends per month.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Exceptional problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Have good team building skills and excellent people skills.

  • Must be energetic and a self-starter.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to promote a continuous improvement atmosphere.
