An opportunity is available within Prudential’s Internal Audit Department for an experienced auditor to join the team responsible for driving information security and information technology audit coverage across the company. This is a position that provides the opportunity to assist in developing and implementing the audit plan covering activities governed and implemented by Global Technology, such as the enterprise Information Security Office and Chief Technology Office.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:


  • Leveraging data analytics and test automation in support of dynamic risk assessment and audit design and execution.

  • Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with Audit Department staff as well as key collaborators in Global Technology, the businesses, and other related functions.

  • Partnering with audit teams across the globe to achieve consistent, coordinated, coverage of information technology and security risks and controls.

  • Monitoring risks, issues, and industry trends throughout the year with the goal of developing and communicating a view as to the design and effectiveness of the processes and controls.

  • Remaining current and demonstrating aptitude in methodologies and technologies that support cyber security, cloud technology, DevOps and the related areas more generally (e.g., operating system, database, networking, software development lifecycle).

  • Assist Product Owner with continuous monitoring meetings, year over year audit coverage, aggregation of key issues for Chief Product Owner and SLT member, and key stakeholder meetings.

  • The successful candidate must possess a high level of executive presence and energy and be highly collaborative.

What you’ll need:


  • Understanding information security related risks, inclusive of frameworks such as NIST Cyber Security, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience gained through a combination of information security/technology, risk and/or audit related roles. Experience in cyber security operations, vulnerability management or other IT operation-based specialist role (e.g., Site Reliability Engineer) a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer systems, information technology, information security.

  • Highly motivated, proactive, critical thinker who can take an initiative in a wide variety of assignments and be able to work independently with minimum supervision at times.

  • Detail oriented individual who can assist the team in the daily execution of our audits, while ensuring alignment to the methodology.

It’d be a plus if you had:


  • MS/MBA, CISA, CISSP and/or other certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner).

  • Financial services industry experience.

The salary range for this role is from $97,300.00 to $144,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
