Our Salesforce Administrator will play a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining the Salesforce platform for the Department of Veterans Affairs. You will work closely with other administrators, developers, architects, business stakeholders, and end-users to understand requirements, implement changes, and ensure the smooth operation of Salesforce systems. The successful candidate will have an understanding of Salesforce functionalities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. We're seeking Salesforce team members to help modernize and enhance enterprise system that connects healthcare providers directly with millions of US veterans seeking care. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Provide frontline support to Salesforce users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving user-reported problems.

·        Configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and other system components to meet business requirements.

·        Collaborate with other administrators and developers to implement customizations, integrations, and enhancements.

·        Support data cleansing, deduplication, and migration activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity within Salesforce.

·        Assist in creating and maintaining data reports, dashboards, and views to support business analytics and decision-making.

·        Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including user provisioning, profile management, and permission set assignments.

·        Monitor system performance, security, and compliance, addressing any issues or concerns as they arise.

·        Document Salesforce configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.

·        Stay informed about Salesforce updates, new features, and best practices, sharing insights with the team to drive continuous improvement.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

·        Understanding of Salesforce platform fundamentals, including data model, security model, and declarative customization options.

·        Experience with Salesforce Lightning and related technologies.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

·        Salesforce Administrator certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.

·        Experience working with Federal agencies is a plus.

EDUCATION:

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.

 CLEARANCE: 

·        Must be a US Citizen.

·        Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

WORK LOCATION:

·        Remote
