Equifax is seeking a Marketing Campaign Manager with proven experience building successful automated campaigns and journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to join our growing Direct-to-Consumer Marketing Team. This role works closely with marketing, product, data & analytics, and legal & compliance partners to deliver successful customer lifecycle campaigns. What you'll do


  • Collaborate with the marketing team, cross-functional departments, and third-party vendors to design and develop inspirational customer campaigns and lifecycle journeys, including onboarding, engagement, upsell/cross sell, retention & winback.
  • Build, configure, validate and monitor all customer journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Journey Builder, ensuring seamless delivery and continuous optimization.
  • Manage the end-to-end production process, ensuring journeys and automations are properly specced, developed, validated, tested, deployed and monitored with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Bring expertise in personalization and marketing automation to infuse leading practices around dynamic email and mobile content and segmentation rules to customize marketing campaigns.
  • Configure and manage decision and personalization rules and features for lifecycle journeys.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support the creative production process, ensuring creative assets are properly specced, developed, reviewed, legally approved, pre-flighted, QA tested and distributed with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure data quality by managing contact models and data extensions, and building audience segments using a variety of methods including filtered lists and SQL queries.
  • Collaborate on lifecycle strategies to boost engagement and retention and drive revenue.
  • Contribute to Agile Sprint Planning & Kanban Reviews and ensure that all journey timelines, calendars and production trackers align with quarterly roadmaps.
  • Support the Quality Control process ensuring the high quality of campaign assets by proofing copy and coding and conducting live testing through defined procedures.
  • Develop documentation and road maps and conduct A/B and MVT testing experiments for automated campaigns and journeys.
  • Analyze and interpret campaign and journey performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization; contribute to team OKRs.
  • Support SFMC platform optimizations and integrations for both internal and external platforms.
  • Effectively and efficiently monitor, troubleshoot and resolve SFMC campaign and journey related issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SFMC features, releases, and marketing automation trends.

What experience you need

  • BA/BS Degree, preferably in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Technology, or equivalent working experience.
  • Exceptional subject matter expertise in email and mobile marketing best practices, experience owning multi-audience email campaigns and developing multi-channel journeys.
  • Extensive usage of Salesforce Marketing Cloud required, inclusive of Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Data Extensions.
  • 3+ years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud with at least 2 years of experience planning, building, and analyzing automated, dynamic and personalized marketing campaigns and leveraging SQL queries to build target audiences. AMPScript, SQL, HTML, and CSS experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with a track record of effectively balancing collaboration and autonomy.
  • Proficiency managing complex A/B and MVT experiments and ability to interpret results to actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of how metrics are derived and how they relate to and impact performance.
  • Actively troubleshoots and successfully communicates issues as they arise.
  • Familiar with lean agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, independent individual who can perform at optimal levels with little guidance but understands the importance of transparency and mitigating risk.
  • Stays abreast of industry best practices and emerging SFMC trends, understands current martech capabilities in the marketplace and is able to connect our martech capabilities to marketing possibilities.

What could set you apart

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification(s) are highly desirable but not required.
  • Ability to see the big picture and reverse engineer solutions down to the finer details.
  • Experience with Javascript, APIs and/or Salesforce Custom Activity development.
  • Experience building personalization modules in MovableInk.
  • Highly effective communicator and skilled relationship-builder.
