TurnAround is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Clinician/Therapist to join our residential services team where we provide state-of-the-art trauma-focused treatment (evaluation, therapy, case management services) to children ages 13- 17 and their families in the aftermath of exposure to human trafficking and complex trauma. The Behavioral Health Clinician/Therapist is responsible for providing trauma focused individual/group therapy and behavioral interventions to support child survivors that have experienced sexual violence. The Behavioral Health Clinician/ Therapist will also independently provide family therapy services to the parents/guardians or caregivers as part of the reunification or placement planning process.
Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology or a related field or Doctoral Degree in Human service-related field.
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid Clinical License in Maryland (LMSW and/ or LGPC)
Knowledge of issues of sexual trauma and gender-based violence.
Proven experience with trauma informed counseling and family therapy.
Demonstrates cultural competency in working with a diverse population.
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of database management systems.
Ability to work evenings/ weekend shifts as needed.
Bi-lingual highly encouraged to apply.
2+ years direct clinical service with survivors of sexual violence required.
2+ years of experience providing trauma focused therapy to Youth and families.
Complete required criminal background check, driving record check, and provide medical clearance information.
