The Office is currently seeking a Litigation Support Specialist in the eDiscovery and Litigation Support Division of the Office.

The Litigation Support Specialist is part of a dedicated team that supports the collection, processing, review, analysis, production, and presentation of electronically stored information (ESI) across the office. This role supports civil and criminal matters in state, federal, and administrative courts. The ideal candidate must have strong technical skills, as well as the willingness and ability to learn new technology, adapt well to changes, and work on fast-paced projects. This role supports the mission of the office by ensuring our legal staff are organized and empowered with the data tools they need to help tell their stories in court.

A successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the mission of the office by:

  • Provide technical support on discovery, litigation, and other technology matters that concern the collection, identification, preservation, processing, review, analysis, production, and presentation of data including ESI
  • Convert files to other formats necessary for discovery, e-filing, and court presentation
  • Create review databases as needed to host case data
  • Configure platform interfaces to meet staff needs and specifications
  • Prepare document productions in accordance with AGO standards, industry best practices, and case-specific needs
  • Utilize secure file transfer tools to send and receive internal and external data

This position is eligible for a hybrid work environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two or more years of relevant litigation support experience in a law firm, corporate, or vendor environment
  • Experience with:
    • using document review platforms such as Everlaw and/or Relativity
    • performing work across multiple stages of electronic discovery reference models (EDRM)
    • working with confidential information
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to:
    • Successfully achieve Everlaw Reviewer and Storybuilder certifications within first 90 days of employment
    • Organize, prioritize, and complete numerous tasks under time constraints
  • Skilled in:
    • Decision making
    • Problem solving

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supporting plaintiff and defensive litigation
  • Supporting government legal teams
  • Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) or other relevant certifications
