JOB SUMMARY
The SALT Senior manages the onboarding, setup, and ongoing sales and use tax compliance for clients using the Vertex or Avalara tax calculation and filing software. Leads team in general consulting, nexus reviews, and taxability studies.

JOB DUTIES
Onboards clients with Vertex or Avalara software.
Completes state sales and use tax and/or payroll registrations for SALT and Payroll clients across the firm.
Manages the monthly sales and used tax compliance for 100+ clients.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Organized and detail oriented; able to maintain records and files.
· Ability to produce high quality work
· Ability to check and monitor own work.
· Self-motivated self-starter and processes oriented.
· Conduct work in a professional manner with clients and internal staff.
· Ability to produce high quality work; able to always maintain confidentiality.
· Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
· Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Equivalent work experience also considered.
· Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite and PC literate in software applications, emphasis on Excel, spreadsheet manipulation and report pulling.
· Must be comfortable using MS Office, Outlook, and research tools such as CCH.
