Job Overview: We currently have an opening for a dynamic Property Tax Intern to join our tax team in Tonawanda, NY. Our team is made up of tax professionals who bring a wealth of tax knowledge, experience, and exuberance to everything we do. We work together with Treasury, Corporate Accounting, and other Linde business groups. Full time hours during the summer, and up to 20 hours per week during the school year. Primary Responsibilities: - Open and sort mail. Direct mail to appropriate party - Assemble property tax return documents and mail to jurisdictions. - Scanning and indexing of Property Tax invoices - Scanning and indexing of property NOV's - Research with jurisdictions to identify unpaid bills, misdirected or missing payments, under payments and overpayments. - Process returned checks/refunds from jurisdictions. Qualifications: - Highly organized - Attention to detail. - Ability to work independently. - Basic excel and data entry skills. - Looking for a rising sophomore or junior in a business program at a local college or university.
