The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) organization is seeking an IT Controls Manager to lead IT controls and compliance related initiatives across IT. As an IT Controls Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Lead an assortment of controls and compliance activities that are critical to successful business transformation and deployment activities.


• Review business processes and technical processes for emerging risks tied to ERP deployments and changes.


• Partnering closely with the Product and Process teams identify and mitigate risks across the different E2E process areas (PTD, MTC, and Support)


• Manage the SOX IT General Controls program, working closely with the Corporate SOX organization.


• Liaison with external and internal auditors to support key audits and risk mitigation activities


• Own and manage the SOD rule-set in SAP, including the operational review of risks


• Manage a team of SOD and risk analysts. 


• Assist with other control/compliance activities as appropriate

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Seven (7) combined years of experience in Audit/SOX, IT Controls and Compliance, and/or on major ERP implementation projects in a private public or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Ability to work with multiple end-to-end process teams


• Technical background or ability to interact with technical teams


• Previous Experience in controls and compliance related functions


• Experience working across multiple functions within IT and cyber security


• Previous experience leading ITGC program


• Previous management experience


• Experience working for big 4 firm on audit or assurance


• Ability to work with ambiguity and across functions


• Ability to adapt communication style to intended audience

•

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
