Here’s What You’ll Get to Do

• Lead team of 4 to manage the indirect spend at OBE, including but not limited to: MRO, Capital Equipment, Facilities, Packaging, IT, Temporary Labor, travel and other services


• Establish cross-functional strategies for each significant category of indirect spend, to address cost, quality, delivery and technology/innovation


• Evaluate and implement tools to assure a low-friction and cost-effective process for requisition, purchasing & contract management in the company


• Encourage, monitor and assure compliance with OBE’s approval authorities and indirect purchasing strategies


• Measure supplier performance as appropriate and manage through regular reviews


• Lead cross-functional efforts to optimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of OBE’s indirect spend, including the necessary analysis, workshops and governance

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work in our Dallas office three times per week


• 10+ Years Procurement/Supply Chain or related Experience in a Manufacturing Environment, 5+ Years with management responsibility


• 4-Year degree, Supply Chain or related field a plus


• Strong analytical skills, black belt / green belt a plus. Demonstrated ability to identify & capture opportunities through data analysis


• History of initiating and implementing transformative projects in an organization, including but not limited to launch of IT tools


• Collaborative and cross-functional approach to achieving objectives


• Experience developing team members to the next level of capability


• Positive approach to building and gaining value from supplier relationships


• Record of creating and/or managing to effective KPI’s
