**Job Description:**

STULZ USA is seeking a highly skilled Technical Documentation Specialist with Mechanical Engineering experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will create, edit, and maintain technical documentation for our diverse range of products, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all materials. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and exceptional writing and communication skills.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to gather technical information and specifications for documentation.

2. Develop clear and concise technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, maintenance procedures, and technical specifications, for STULZ USA products.

3. Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand written materials suitable for various audiences, including end-users, technicians, and service professionals.

4. Ensure all technical documentation complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines.

5. Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity, accuracy, and consistency, incorporating stakeholder feedback as necessary.

6. Organize and maintain a comprehensive library of technical documentation, ensuring easy accessibility and version control.

7. Collaborate with localization teams to adapt technical documentation for different regions and languages as needed.

8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical writing and mechanical engineering.

**Qualifications:**

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.

2. Proven experience (5+ years) in technical writing or documentation within the mechanical engineering or HVAC industry.

3. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.

4. Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively.

5. Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, or similar software.

6. Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and experience working with engineering drawings and schematics.

7. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and consistency in documentation.

8. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

1. Experience with content management systems (CMS) for documentation, such as Document 360 and Office 365

2. Knowledge of international standards and regulations governing technical documentation, such as ISO 9001 or ANSI/IEEE standards.

3. Experience with technical illustration software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) for creating diagrams and visual aids in documentation.

4. Previous experience in the HVAC or data center industry is a plus.
