Responsibilities

• Leading technical and patent professional teams in assessing the merits of diverse patent portfolios.


• Establishing strategic priorities for the engagement with clients globally


• Participation in meeting with clients and client's counsels to understand the requirements for the projects and presentation of the results


• Assessing risks of the projects and effectively communicating the proposals to the clients


• Preparation of proposals and budget for the projects for client's approval


• Securing the right engineering and patent analysis resources for the projects, including external experts


• Reviewing reports, presentations, and other work products ensuring highest quality


• Guiding team efforts in conducting research/analyses and preparing models/reports


• Supporting practice development efforts
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• Masters degree or higher in technical fields from a highly regarded program; preferably EE


• General understanding of broad range of technologies and flexibility in dealing with areas outside the core competency


• 10 plus years of intellectual property (patents) experience, preferably patent assessment and licensing/litigation support.


• Solid analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment


• Ability to lead multiple diversified project concurrently


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• High degree of professionalism, integrity, and flexibility


• Great attitude and client presence


• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams


• Business or economics degree and/or experience is an advantage
