What you will do:



Past Due Resolution

• Work closely with our vendors, HYG Procurement and Planning teams to ensure that invoices are processed accurately and timely
  
  


• Obtain missing invoices from the vendor
  
  


• Expediting resolution of discrepancy invoices
  
  


• Ensure past due and discrepancy invoices are processed with a high degree of urgency
  
  

Data Analytics

• Complete vendor statement reconciliations including both detail and summary presentation of status.
  
  


• Requires complex data analysis
  
  


• Use of Excel, several payables software applications and discrepancy tracking systems
  
  

Relationship

• Maintain a relationship with the vendor to avoid future issues
  
  

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to avoid future issues
  
  

Credit Holds

• Analyze issues and action immediately
  
  


• Resolve credit holds by working with all stakeholders with a sense of urgency
  
  

Reporting

• Develop and provide metrics and periodic reporting to management
  
  


• Focus on root cause and prevention
  
  

Other Duties as Assigned

• Special projects related to efficiency improvements including streamlining the error resolution process
  
  


• Providing Transaction Processing Center Help Desk support
  
  

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; accounting degree preferred
  
  


• General ledger understanding
  
  


• 3-5 years relevant experience
  
  


• Advanced Excel skills required
  
  

Skills, Experience & Abilities

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  
  


• Solid understanding of general ledger transactions, financial statements and accounting standards/concepts.
  
  

• Strong leadership skills
  
  


• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
  


• Advanced analytical/spreadsheet (Excel) software skills
  
  


• Strong project management skills
