The Parts Marketing Analyst's Primary Purpose will be to:



This position is responsible for providing the necessary marketing and sales support for the growth, conversion, or retention of HYG's ergonomics and safety brand parts and UNISOURCE business via traditional dealer sales channels as well as developing digital sales channels. This will include driving execution of product marketing strategies in form of campaign development. This individual will work closely with Aftersales Communications and eCommerce team to develop both wholesale and retail facing campaign assets and consult on selection of communications channel of these assets. A large portion of this individual's time will be to provide customer and sales support for HYG Aftersales Commercial Support team and Dealer network. This individual will support product line (portfolio) financials health by driving at determined sales and margin goals and to utilize analytics to support understanding of competitive market space, price position, and product portfolio health.



The Successful Parts Marketing Analyst Will Provide the Following Key Accountabilities:



  • Act as a first responder for Customer (both internal and external) and Dealer requests

  • Develop parts and accessories marketing content

  • Increased purchase and retention of Brand parts and accessories within the dealer organization. This also includes training, analytical, and parts support opportunities.

  • Support Aftersales Commercial Support Managers, Parts Product Managers and Commodity Sales and Promotion Manager



  • Furnish team with actionable intelligence that can be used for strategy development and decision-making

  • Conversion Opportunities: use of sales opportunity data, effective probing and relationship building skills to identify challenges in growing, converting, or retaining Brand parts and accessory business

  • Create an atmosphere in which Dealers and Customers find it easy to do business with HYG Aftersales.

  • Support and manage supplier relationships.



  • Help ensure suppliers (Direct Ship and Brand parts) are meeting the expectations of our dealer network and end users

  • Develop and maintain part attributes in Product Information Management (PIM) system for ingestion into eCommerce


The Parts Marketing Analyst Must Meet the Following Minimum Qualifications:



  • B.S. Degree

  • 3-5 years' experience

  • Project management skills

  • Advanced personal computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite, AS/400 and adaptable to other software

  • Strong analytical skills and technical business skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of industrial truck Aftermarket marketplace, competition, and distribution systems


Additional Information:



The approaches, procedures and networking of this position are very unstructured and require excellent interpersonal skills and communication capability. As a functional member of the Aftermarket team, they play an integral role in uncovering individual dealer and customer (e-com) obstacles in growing parts accessories sales and converting business through HYG. This position also requires good technical business skills. A working knowledge of the industrial truck Aftermarket marketplace, competition, and Hyster and Yale distribution systems is required. The workload and activity level are high, and Sales Support team is required to find more efficient methods of accomplishing tasks.
