Job Description:

Work Schedule: 

90-100% FTE, day shift. Monday through Friday. Operational hours from 6:30AM – 7:00PM (8, 10, 12 hour shifts) with night/weekend on-call requirements (30 minute call response time). Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

• External hires may be eligible for up to a $ 5,000.00 sign on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) / Cath Lab Tech to:

• Practice in a growing technologically advanced and dynamic interventional procedural area.


• Be an integral member of our highly collaborative multidisciplinary team.


• Assist with scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring invasive cardiovascular procedures.


• Receive opportunities to cross-train to our growing Pediatric and Adult Congenital Invasive Cardiology Program.

Education:

Minimum – Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Technologist (CVIS) training program. One year of Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) or Interventional Radiology experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.

Preferred – Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) Technologist training program.

Work Experience:

Preferred – Two years of Cardiovascular Technologist work experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – 

• If an Imaging Technician, then registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT). 

• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification 

• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire date

Preferred – RCIS. If a graduate meeting minimum education requirement, then licensed, certified or registered by appropriate credentialing program.
