Job Description:

 Punch Tech
Location: Douglas Pointe - Hammond, Indiana

Primary Responsibilities
 

• Informs Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager of any needed services and repairs. 




• Assists during “trash-out” of apartment, i.e., moving heavy / bulky items to the dumpster. 




• Assists with painting duties when requested. Transfers paint from storage areas to apartments when painting is scheduled.  




• Checks faucets, sink plugs, and repairs/replaces as necessary.  Replaces washers when needed.  Performs exterior repairs to sinks, bathtubs, etc., when warranted. 




• Inspects bathroom tiles and performs minor repairs / replacements. 




• Operates carpet-cleaning equipment to clean carpets. 




• Changes HVAC filters. 




• Repairs holes in walls with plaster and paints as necessary. 

Qualifications & Experience
 

• HVAC certification desired. 




• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) is a plus. 




• 1+ year(s) of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing.
