Wood Shop Carpenter/Mill Worker

$18 - $20 per hour Depending on Experience

We are a well-established door distributor located in Southeast Florida, specifically in Lake Worth. With a strong reputation in the industry, we take pride in providing high-quality architectural wood doors and exceptional customer service. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as a Wood Shop Carpenter/Mill Worker. As a key member of our Wood Shop department, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality wooden components for our custom doors and hardware products.

This is a full-time position. 

You will be required to take a drug test upon hiring.  We are a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Matching architectural wood doors and executing associated modifications to our stock door inventory.
• Utilizing power tools, hardware, and templating knowledge for door customization.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood materials.
• Sand, stain, and finish wood surfaces.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
• Proficiency in woodworking techniques, handling power tools, hardware, and templating.
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
