JOB DESCRIPTION FOR MAINTENANCE HANDYMAN
.
POSITION: NON-EXEMPT

Responsible for completing basic maintenance repairs inside apartments and common areas of the buildings.
Repair or replace apartment or public area radiators.
Handle any building waste or drain line stoppages, including apartment sinks and bathtubs and toilets.
Upkeep for proper functioning of all laundry room equipment.
Upkeep for all building entry doors to maintain function (no apartment doors).
Apartment or building water damage reports
All building windows repair or replace clips, locks, pivots, balance and pivot guides
Common area interior and exterior light fixtures
Intercom systems
Door access systems
Repair and replace emergency lighting
Compactor system and chute doors
Garage minor repairs and prepare for re-rental
Apartment lockouts
Fire reports – assist Fire & Police with access to buildings and apartments
Available for emergency response.
Assist in the apartment when is need it
