The Quality Coordinator assists Case Initiation Center (CIC) management in providing on-going training, mentoring and coaching to Case Initiation Coordinator/Research Specialists, ensuring program deliverables and accountabilities are fulfilled, through planning and oversight of special projects within CIC. The position will be located in Norman, OK with flexible and/or remote option possible. This position will also participate in an onsite rotation schedule to be available to Case Initiation Coordinator/Research Specialists working onsite.


Essential Functions:



  • Assists in the facilitation of the Quality Program by performing research, survey assistance, compliant monitoring, information presentation, quality audits, and data maintenance

  • Performs various research activities pertaining to quality

  • Monitors complaints, activities, and procedures

  • Follows up on problems to ensure all are addressed

  • Gathers information, scores or analyzes data

  • Presents information and findings

  • Performs quality audits, examines data, performs quality improvement initiatives 

  • May perform queries of databases for random selection protocols

  • Determines if there is adherence to Federal and State regulations and if steps were taken to correct problems

  • Visits site and ensures standards are being met

  • May develop curriculum for training and implement educational materials and provide instruction to employees

  • Assists in planning seminars by gathering information, obtaining speakers, creating handouts, and setting agendas

  • Maintains data, databases, reports, correspondence, and evaluation findings

  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position

Required Education: Bachelor Degree AND:



  • 24 months experience in quality improvement and compliance.


Equivalency/Substitution:  Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months experience.


Skills:



  • Ability to speak, read and write clear, concise English

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Customer service

  • Must be able to perform basic data analysis

  • Must be able to create and deliver effective training presentations


Certifications:



  • Driver's license required to provide training at multiple locations.


Advertised Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to engage in repetitive motions.

  • Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods.

  • May be required to travel.

  • May require contact with other departments and university officials.

  • Must be able to hear, see, sit and stand.


Departmental Preferences:



  • 24 months experience developing curriculum and facilitating adult training

  • Experience in quality assurance monitoring

  • Experience in developing and coaching/training activities

  • Experience making presentations to diverse target audiences

  • Knowledge of process improvement

  • Analytical skills

  • Knowledge of Child Support policies and procedures


Supervision: No Supervisory Duties
