Job Summary:

This position will perform the functions of a skilled welder. They will work from structure plans to weld various parts.

Job Duties:
Measure, cut, and join appropriate metals to specificationsUse grinder to smooth and clean as appropriateInspect work and fill/repair as necessaryTest the strength of each joint during and after project completionIdentify hazards, defects and needs for adjustments to ensure compliance with applicable codes, laws, working practices, and health and safetyClean and maintain all equipment and tools and keep work areas neatThe above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of MIG welding criteria per QA and passing our skills testOperate grinders and torchesExcellent stamina, strength and dexterityGood time-management skillsSound understanding of safety rules, regulations, and safe job proceduresMust be able to assist in other areas as needed and follow all quality procedures
