State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is seeking a motivated Senior Contract Analyst with institutional client experience and/or legal experience who can work within our established team to provide our contracts with amazing organization, attention to detail and new thoughts. Are you that person?

As a Senior Contract Analyst within the North American Client Coverage Group, you will:

• Be responsible for managing the entire client contract life-cycle for new and existing client relationships, from drafting a sample through negotiation and delivery of the final contract package.


• Be part of and collaborate with a talented team focused on providing organized and timely contract packages to match the investment needs of our clients.


• Work extremely closely with our client facing Legal team.


• Participate in internal deal calls to understand each contracting event.

To be successful, you will develop an understanding of SSGA's investment and operational capabilities, service offerings, and internal processes in order to efficiently lead each stage of a contract's progression internally. You will build collaborative relationships across our sales, legal, operations, compliance, investment, product, finance and other internal teams to successfully meet deadlines and develop a comprehensive working knowledge of the business. You will also partner with your colleagues in other regions to ensure global consistency in our processes and to continuously improve the overall experience of our clients. This role is part of the North American Client Coverage Group and you will report to the Head of Client Onboarding & Contracting.

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

• A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in the investment management industry, working with institutional clients is preferred and a legal background is a benefit


• Outstanding attention to detail, extremely accurate and well organized


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Comprehension of SSGA's capabilities and services to successfully complete contract packages in a timely manner


• Demonstrated analytical skills so as to provide thoughtful approaches to tasks


• The ability to lead, prioritize and execute independently on multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously


• A natural inclination to form and cultivate positive relationships with internal partners to encourage collaboration and positive outcomes


• The ability to thrive in a highly regulated environment that demands full compliance with policies and procedures


• A willingness to learn, collaborate and take on additional responsibilities

$80,000 - $132,500 Annual
