Position Title: NetSuite Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled NetSuite Architect to join our team and play a key role in enhancing project efficiency and contributing to our transformation into a Continuous Improvement (CI) based company. The successful candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of NetSuite, with ability to architect, design, build and deliver NetSuite solutions (via Suite Script, Suite Flow, Suite Cloud, building advanced workflows, saved searches and custom reports). This role requires the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the smooth operation of critical NetSuite projects and overall IT efficiency.

Administer production and sandbox NetSuite environments, related systems and perform NetSuite administrative functions such as customizations of forms, fields, searches, dashboards, workflows, suite-lets, user role definitions/access management, and other solutions. Assist in the development of dashboards and reports and provide end user support, troubleshooting issues and communicating solutions in a timely manner.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of NetSuite, serving as the go-to expert for all NetSuite-related projects and initiatives.
• Architect solutions for complex business requirements, which may include configuration and/or integration and/or technical components.
• Learn our diverse set of business systems, enabling seamless integration and customization as needed.
• Manage and build NetSuite Integrations with business systems applications.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop, modify, and maintain codebase for various applications.
• Manage reporting, saved searches, dashboards, and end-user training/troubleshooting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in testing methodologies and tools to ensure the reliability and accuracy of implemented solutions.
• Utilize debugging techniques to troubleshoot issues and drive timely resolutions.
• Strong data analytics, reporting and database experience in NetSuite.
• Manage NetSuite sandbox (Dev, QA) and production environments and collaborate on product releases.
• Provide support for NetSuite users as technical point of contact.
• Collaborate with analysts, solutions architect, application developers, QA team and end users to deliver business requirements.
• Identify and address bottlenecks in the IT project pipeline, particularly related to NetSuite projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize project workflows and reduce lead times.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing expertise in NetSuite and overall IT best practices.
• Contribute to the evolution of our CI culture by proposing and implementing efficiency-focused projects that may be overlooked in traditional ROI justifications.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

• 12+ years of development and architecture experience, 5+ years of direct NetSuite experience.
• NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification and/or SuiteCloud Developer certification.
• NetSuite Administration experience of roles, permissions, custom objects, scripting, workflows, reports and dashboards.
• In-depth knowledge of the NetSuite platform, its integration capabilities, and data structures.
• Proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and/or NetSuite custom reporting.
• Experience with NetSuite SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), including source code control, peer code reviews, team development and integrated debugging.
• Experience using SDF & SuiteCloud deployment technologies to move code and data across NetSuite environments.
• Strong knowledge of key financial processes such as Lead to Order, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, etc.
• Strong problem solving, data analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated experience in testing, validation, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and related disciplines.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, writing and communication skills.
