The Teller will provide service support to Member transaction needs in a manner that is professional, friendly, and compliant with all policies and procedures. In doing so, the Teller will recommend and refer new and alternative financial services to Members that best fit their financial needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Professionally process all Member-based teller transactions:
Deliver and properly document all Teller transactions
Maintain, balance, and control all cash-based transactions
Provide friendly and personal service for all service requests
Monitor transactions to avoid losses to Member from fraud
Assist other Tellers with work as needed
Provide processing support for mail and night depository transactions and balancing of ATMs
Identify and recommend new and alternative services to Members that will properly fit their financial needs
Meet or exceed assigned service and productivity goals established for this position
Perform all duties in a manner that is 100% compliant with KEMBA policies and procedures.
Develops an understanding of Credit Union history, philosophy, organization, policies, and operational procedures
On a self-directed basis, continue to improve individual level of competency through training and certification on established educational programs
Must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions:
Can get along with coworkers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes
Perform work activities requiring negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading, or speaking with others
Respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor
Performs other duties as required by management
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
Prior customer service experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must value a high degree of accuracy
Professional demeanor
Effective communication skills
Basic PC skills (Windows)
