Field Service Representative (FSR) Computer Network Specialist

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Comtech Systems, Inc. (CSI) is looking for a Field Service Representative (FSR) to formulate and develop communications requirements and design standards. Provide operations and maintenance support satellite communication solutions support CONUS and OCONUS locations worldwide. Responsible for responsible for the setup, configuration, implementation, operations, management, troubleshooting and resolving customer technical problems. Provide technical problem diagnoses and resolution support for all associated subsystems, including line monitoring, modem loop-back tests, LAN performance monitoring and terminal failure determination. Provide hardware and software installation and configuration support. Commensurate experience and education

PRIMARY DUTIES:

All candidates will perform the following duties:

• Formulate and develop communications requirements and design standards.
• Provide operations and maintenance support satellite communication solutions support CONUS and OCONUS locations worldwide.
• Responsible for responsible for the setup, configuration, implementation, operations, management, troubleshooting and resolving customer technical problems.
• Provide technical problem diagnoses and resolution support for all associated subsystems, including line monitoring, modem loop-back tests, LAN performance monitoring and terminal failure determination.
• Provide hardware and software installation and configuration support.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

All candidates will have the following minimum skills:

• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
• Familiarity with MS Office suite
• Excellent communication skills
• Prefer candidates with a valid US passport.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the level required by each assigned task.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree
• 5 years experience as an FSR or related profession
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, candidate must have;
• An associate’s degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience,
